I too found myself far more emotional than I thought I'd be over that scene. Just seeing Van Gogh overwhelmed with everything around him and moved to tears.
(I had a similar love for the scene from Two Towers where Saruman show Grima the 10,000 strong army of Uruk'Hai and he cries one tear xD.)
I really liked how they handled the depression issue with Van Gogh too, how quickly moods can shift from one moment to the next,and I do love a bit of angst in my Who.
