Dreams...

It's becoming increasingly rare for me to remember my dreams. I think it's because I'm getting less and less sleep lately so when I am asleep, I'm very deeply asleep. The last few days have been holidays though so I've had lazier mornings and the opportunity to just stay in bed and doze so I've been remembering them. I try not to trust dreams I have when dozing too much though, as sometimes I can control and direct them and they're actually lucid dreams.

Or maybe, that makes them more interesting?

Anyway, the one I had this morning had GACKT in it. That's actually really rare, for me. He doesn't show up that often.

We were sat in that basement lobby of his with the comfy sofas and huge television screen. We were sat on one of those sofas, side by side but not touching in anyway, and were watching the latest two Doctor Who episodes.

I asked him if he could understand what was happening as they were very complicated, let's set up the rest of the season and use lots of sci-fi techno babble kind of episodes and he answered that he didn't understand any of it.

I said to him that we should stop watching and instead watch something that both of us could understand and enjoy.

He replied that he didn't want it switched off and was enjoying it.

I was confused by this and asked him why he was enjoying it if he couldn't understand it.

His answer? "I'm enjoying spending time with you."

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

The dream me melted into a pool of goo, and then the real me woke up. Dammit!

I think that's the result of reading sweet GACKTIONARY entries and spending far too many hours over the last few days reading speculation and theories about the new Doctor Who series (WHAT. THE. HELL. IS. GOING. ON???)

The sweetness of it makes me smile even now. If any real man actually did say that to me, I'd do whatever he asked of me XD

I had another dream a couple of days ago about my mother. I can't even remember what happened, I just know that we were doing regular mother/daughter type things. It was nice.

THAT GOAL WAS IN REFEREE!!!!

Bah.

I was planning on doing a huge Doctor Who *squee* post but England vs. Germany is distracting me.

(Big lulz at hearing a "referee's a wanker" chant loud and clear on Japanese TV though)

So, the short *squee* - love Eleven, LOVE Matt Smith, loved the finale and am greatly looking forward to next season when hopefully the unanswered questions will be answered. I think it's very brave of Moffat to have already started next season's main story arch this early on.

It's 3:30AM here and I've just finished watching a live stream of Doctor Who.

I have only two things to say.

How the fuck are they gonna get out of that one?

Is it next week yet??!!

Damn.

Bed time now.

I got back from Osaka a few hours ago (will post about that tomorrow - in short, a good time was had by all) and have just watched this week's Doctor Who episode.

It made me cry :-(

I didn't cry when Ten regenerated or at any other episode yet this episode managed to make me cry over a one off character.

The Doctor: Between you and me, in a hundred words, where do you think Van Gogh rates in the history of art?
Curator: Well, um...Big question, but to me, Van Gogh is the finest painter of them all. Certainly the most popular great painter of all time, the most beloved. His command of colour the most magnificent. He transformed the pain of his tormented life into ecstatic beauty. Pain is easy to portray, but to use your passion and pain to portray the ecstasy and joy and magnificence of our world...no one had ever done it before. Perhaps no one ever will again. To my mind, that strange, wild man who roamed the fields of Provence was not only the world's greatest artist, but also one of the greatest men who ever lived.

Damn you Bill Nighy and Tony Curren for your wonderful acting.

Damn you Richard Curtis for your snappy and touching writing (but thanks for writing Love Actually)

"I don't want to go."

I DON'T WANT YOU TO GO EITHER.

*bawls*

Happy 2010 and all that jazz.

*grabs more tissues*

Family are watching the soaps so I thought I'd take the chance to distract myself by posting here. I'm on my iPhone so I'll keep it short and sweet.

Best present of the day was probably a Sat Nav from the parents although I guess it says something about their confidence in my navigation skills.

Doctor Who has just finished and has set up the second part nicely. I won't spoil anything but I'm even less confident about surviving the next episode without turning into a blubbering mess. The scene in the coffee shop nearly got me and damn, I really just want to glomp Tennant and give him a hug.

And to any Gackt fans who also watch Who... I'm not the only one who was reminded of the Jesus PV during certain parts was I?

Argh. If I see one more commercial advertising Boxing Day sales I'm gonna scream. Loudly.

Hope everyone is having a great day!
