I has pretties!

After spending Saturday in the 36/37 degree heat that was Osaka, and Sunday in the heat of Tokyo that was probably only a couple of degrees cooler, I got back to Okayama today... and ran right into a thunderstorm.
I drove the forty minutes back from the train station and despite having my windscreen wipers on the super duper high speed setting, I still couldn't see a damn thing.
By the time I got home though, fortunately I'd got through the worst of the thunderstorm and it was just drizzle.
Welcome home huh?
I did have nice surprise waiting for me when I got home as I found these lovelies in my letterbox thanks to
lefcadio

Kenshin goodies!
The chibi keyrings are far smaller than the previous Kenshin ones - they're the same size as the Gakuen chibis. I love the little nameplate that's attached to them though!
And here's the bracelet.

It's sooooo pretty! I love the red stones so much!
It's bigger than my other Darts bracelets (they only did it in one size so no choice on that) but still looks good alongside them.

Thanks so much for getting them for me
lefcadio ! It made coming home and starting back in the boring, normal life of work a little bit more tolerable after such an awesome GACKT filled summer.
I just have to keep on reminding myself now that I have Nemuri to look forward to in October and the Gazette in November. That should be keep me going through these non-YFC filled days. Maybe I can actually save some money over the next couple of months too....
And a big thanks to
shinimegami21 for letting me crash at her place on Sunday night after the Bikini live. I actually had a really good night's sleep, far better than I usually get in hotels and for a far better price XD If you ever fancy a trip to nowhere, I'll be more than happy to return the favour someday!

Date: 2010-08-30 04:02 pm (UTC)It's beautiful, but how come it doesn't look much like the one in the advertisement? @__@ I know they said it was just a conceptual image at that point, but still....
Glad you had a great time at the swimsuit live (sorry about the absence of striptease, though! XD).

Date: 2010-08-30 04:10 pm (UTC)Meh, he still stripped off his tie and shirt. It was probably for the best he didn't go any further. It was hot enough in there as it was!

Date: 2010-08-30 04:21 pm (UTC)So, are they actually more prominent than in the pic?

I do think the striptease was his way of apologizing for the Atsugi thing and thanking the fans for sticking with him. ^^;

Date: 2010-08-30 04:27 pm (UTC)I think the stones are the same, just in a different order and there's an extra red one. The real bracelet is more balanced than the prototype (it was also less than 6,000yen I think so no complaints!)
I wouldn't be surprised if Vanilla was put in there to please the fans too. His whole performance seemed more geared towards pleasing the audience than his usual YFC performances.
I think he's realised that he screwed up. His last blog seemed to indicate that didn't it? Was his tone and word choice better when he discussed and apologised for the Atsugi Live? It came across that way in the translations.

Date: 2010-08-30 04:39 pm (UTC)Yeah, it looks nice... =^^=
(Since I couldn't get it and there's probably no way in hell I can get an official one at this point, I'm wondering if I can't get a replica. Well, I say this as if you couldn't tell! XD)
Yeah, the little bits I summarized in OGYD from his latest blog were much more sincere apologies. (Although he made it a little more 'lighthearted' than how I actually summarized it, since he said "Please just laugh it off and forgive me, I'm still an adult with many faults".
Yeah, definitely, the Atsugi live was geared toward pleasing the fans.
The catwalk was actually a pretty good idea to fill up the not-so-crowded hall. ^^;
Too bad you guys didn't have a catwalk! =/

Date: 2010-08-30 04:51 pm (UTC)The catwalk was an amazing idea. If it had been there during the swimsuit live though I think people would have died fighting to get towards it. I think leaving clothes behind meant that people left their inhibitions behind too and it was simply brutal.

It really sounds like it was pure hell!! My goodness.... LOL

Date: 2010-08-30 05:07 pm (UTC)I think he did realize that he went a bit too fast, but I'm pretty sure hes forgiven now.

Date: 2010-08-30 04:22 pm (UTC)I'm not surprised you had a good sleep, as nice as hotels are, they are strange places and I read somewhere that our innate survival instincts keep us from deep sleep in strange places, thats why you never sleep well until the second night!
Saving money, what a novel idea! ;D

Date: 2010-08-30 04:46 pm (UTC)I need to save money for Nemuri goods and it's always good to have a back up in case GACKT decides to do something crazy again...

Date: 2010-08-30 05:10 pm (UTC)It's the possibility of more Camui Gakuen shows that have my bank balance worried. Those and anything new he might decide to do.

Date: 2010-08-30 04:36 pm (UTC)Oh, and of course I wish you a lot of strength to bare the normal daily routine!! I've been at the YFC in Munich. It was my first concert and it's more than a month ago already, but I still couldn't find back to my everyday live, yet. -.-* *hides in a corner and feels ashamed* *mumbles to herself* 'Damn Gackt-fever, how did he get me that far!!! How the hell am I supposed to go on now ... darn!' *looks up, notices that everybody is listening, blushes* Oh, sorry I got off the subject! XD

Date: 2010-08-30 04:54 pm (UTC)What keeps you going is the thought that one day you'll be there again and every extra day is just one day closer until you are.
XD

Date: 2010-08-30 05:29 pm (UTC)Well, that's right but if you're in Europe then the next time is too far away to imagine. *sighs* But for now I live from day to day, from one Gackt-song/-discussion/-video/-picture to another. The next date I have an eye on is that I've planned to go to Japan for maybe some months or even a whole year. But I've planned to do so in two years because I'm doing an unpaid career training for one more year and want to use the second and paid year of the career training to save some money. Does even anybody understand what I mean? I've got the impression that the way I wrote it is confusing. Sry XDD

Date: 2010-08-30 10:50 pm (UTC)Save money? Not sure I would count on that - G is always scheming of things to come between us and monies. Even the chibis have the scheming look!

Date: 2010-08-31 05:53 am (UTC)what date is your october nemuri again?? i'm saving for those goods too... as such i will not be ordering the calendar :( ...but i will no doubt cave for the PB.

Date: 2010-08-31 08:02 am (UTC)I'll get the calendar I think as my walls need brightening up. I'll just watch my pennies on non-essential stuff. Like food XD

Date: 2010-09-03 09:57 am (UTC)The bracelet looks wonderful - very shiny, very dark, very mysterious - like crystallized elixir of Gackt power!
Thanks for putting up the pics.
