The time between Christmas and New Year is awkward and boring so I come bringing gifts for the F-list to hopefully make it a little bit brighter!

Platinum Box X – GACKT Birthday with Dears recap

Taken from the gig on July 4th, it's the little birthday party the band and crew threw for Gackt. They've also included the entire performance of Love Letter which was only performed at this show. All in all, it's a little over 10 minutes long.

Don't claim the video as your own and don't repost without permission; this is ripped from my own copy of Platinum Box X (and no, I won't rip and upload the whole thing so don't ask. I'm sure someone will eventually).

I'll be keeping the post unlocked (as long as I don't get in trouble!) so feel free to link back to this entry if anyone wants it.

I've got all of the PBs apart from VIII :-(

I like the box better than the last few. My favourites have always been the earlier, velvet ones but this one is nice and shiny. It's packaged very well, especially the gift. The gift is cute but there's soooo much Japanese text that I think a lot of the humour was lost on me.

The DVD itself is funny. There's some real laugh out loud moments and Gackt seems to be enjoying himself immensely. It follows the standard plan of the whole band eating themselves stupid and playing games before Gackt and You go on their date and meet the Dear.

It's also further proof that alongside the school boy uniforms has come the school boy sense of humour.

I don't think anyone has subbed the MC. To my knowledge this is the first rip of any part of the DVD so I doubt it's been done.
