Taken from the gig on July 4th, it's the little birthday party the band and crew threw for Gackt. They've also included the entire performance of Love Letter which was only performed at this show. All in all, it's a little over 10 minutes long.

Don't claim the video as your own and don't repost without permission; this is ripped from my own copy of Platinum Box X (and no, I won't rip and upload the whole thing so don't ask. I'm sure someone will eventually).

I'll be keeping the post unlocked (as long as I don't get in trouble!) so feel free to link back to this entry if anyone wants it.

Well, he is! :) Back when I still had enough brains to write fic, I used to be on a rock/metal RPF board and accidentally started a trend for people there including Eddie as a character in their Maiden fics. (I was honestly surprised nobody else had done it before - like you say, he's a pretty integral fixture... *g*)

I've only ever read a couple of Maiden fics, both by the same writer who I met in the wrestling fandom. They were both Bruce x Steve, with Eddie as a main character in one of them and I never searched for any more.

It's about the only fandom where I *haven't* searched out fiction!

But yeah... Eddie deserves a starring role!

I'm so swiping a pile of the wrestling downloads! And then Debs and I will watch them and have a crotchety old lady conversation about how we remember the days when WWE (or WWF) was actually entertaining, and how in our day to get to a wrestling show you had to walk four miles in the snow, with no feet, uphill both ways, and when you got there you didn't have seats, you had a pit of spikes and we were grateful for it, and anyone who didn't like Hulk Hogan was shot with a harpoon... actually, I think that last part might still be true.

I actually haven't planned to get this PB since they are so expensive, but I think eventually I will just laugh about the price and buy it, in order to support him.
Because buying his works is all we from faraway can do besides writing mails to show him that he's loved and appreciated, accepted and being supported, ne...
